What you’ll do (and why you’ll love doing it)

As a Data Engineer 1 at Precoa, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced data professionals to help build and support our growing data warehouse environment.

From day one, you’ll be hands-on with production pipelines and mission-critical systems. You’ll be learning fast, building smart, and contributing to the tech that drives decision making across the company.

You’ll thrive as you:
 

• Build data pipelines. Develop and refine workflows, support ETL/ELT processes in Matillion, and manage structured data using tools like Snowflake, and Azure.
   
• Drive quality and accuracy. Create and maintain schemas, run validation checks, and ensure teams across the organization can rely on clean, accessible data.
   
• Partner across teams. Work closely with analytics, strategy, and reporting teams to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions.

What will make you successful

• 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, software development, or database-related roles (including internships or academic projects)
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, Snowflake, Azure, and ETL tools like Matillion
• Understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and data quality best practices
• A collaborative, curious mindset and a strong foundation in problem-solving
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent experience
